Impact of Adaptive Hockey on the Development of Balance, Stability, and the Improvement of the Psycho-Emotional State of Veterans with Lower Limb Amputations

Research Objective – to determine the effectiveness of sled hockey training in improving balance, stability, and the psycho-emotional well-being of veterans with lower limb amputations.
Research Methods – analysis of scientific literature; functional testing (TUG, Sit-to-Stand, Romberg Test); specialized on-ice assessments (Slalom Agility Test, Sprint-and-Turn Test); evaluation of observational outcomes; participant surveys using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10). The study was conducted at the “Unbreakable Ice Rink” in Chornomorsk with the support of the Bionic Foundation Charitable Organization, Odesa.
